I get to headline my favorite show twice a year .. you know it. Comedy Heights. The little show that could 🙂 Comedy Heights was started by Al Gavi and Gina Manning about 5 years ago as a twice monthly show next the coffee at Twiggs in University Heights, and when Gina moved to LA, she recommended me to Al and Al is super smart so he listened to Gina and brought me on as his new partner. We went weekly. Booked some amazing comics and tah dah! 2 years later it’s one of the best shows in town. I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish. And now I get to headline and play with some fabulous people I love to work with. Tony Calabrese is my feature … plus some of my UBER good friends Toni Torquato and Gene Levin who run their own show at the Space Bar in La Mesa once a week, and newcomer Danielle Marie Thomas. It’s going to be fun … hope you can join us!
I’m opening for Piff the Magic Dragon!
I don’t know how I get to be so lucky! I’m featuring for America’s Got Talent Golden Ticket Winner – Piff the Magic Dragon, at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy in Phoenix Wednesday December 16th – 20th. Text me to get on the VIP list! 619 993 3402. This is going to be huge!
Pechanga Here I Come!
This coming weekend I’m opening for Don Friesen at Pechanga Casino. Don is a 2 time winner of the San Francisco Comedy Competition and has been seen on the Martin Short Show and Comedy Central. I can’t wait! I’ll be at the Casino all weekend. So come and say Gidday. One show Friday July 31 and 2 shows August 1st. Just click here to get to the tickets page.Â
Headlining 2 Local Watering Holes
Finally … Tony Calabrese is opening for me. It had to happen sooner or later. And yes it’s all happening at our establishment of choice @spacebar in La Mesa, Friday July 24th 7pm. Kathleen Finney runs that room again, likes she used to a gazillion years ago, except now there’s beer and wine 🙂 It’s a $10 cover that gets you a free beverage of your choosing. And then you laugh for 90 minutes. Whether you like it or not. Trust me. It’s painless. Well mostly. 7454 University Ave, La Mesa 91942
Then Wednesday August 8th 7pm I’m at Java Joe’s with Jennifer Congernaum and Steve Heyl who run the show twice a month. It’s a hip little joint and that show will be a lot of laughs too. No Cover. No Drink Minimums. 3536 Adams Ave, SD 92116.
Europe or Bust!
Comedians Laura Hayden and Charlene Mae and I are Europe bound with our first stop at the Edinburgh Fringe. EXCITING! The number one place to perform in the world and we will be there! So exciting. Please come out and support us if you are in  Edinburgh, Liverpool. London, Paris or Amsterdam. Woot!
Fun Fun Fun at the Comedy Store
This most likely one of the most fun shows of the year. It’s Tony Calabrese’s annual birthday bash at the Comedy Store. We’d do it more often, but he’d be so old by now. Message me to get tickets.
I LOVE Sacramento
The audiences in Sacramento at the Punchline have been amazing! Thank you so much for being so welcoming and ready to laugh. Dat Phan and I were interviewed on Don Geronimo’s podcast Friday morning and that was so much FUN! ForeverFridayXO treated us with free tee shirts that empower women and children. Everyone has been so great! I can’t wait to come back here to Sac and perform again. The comics are hilarious and the locals are wonderful. Thank you to every one 🙂
Get Hypnotized at the Palace!
Thursday Comedy at the Palace is proud to present Brian Schwartz, the Green-Eyed Hypnotist, this Thursday. Â In addition to hilarious comedy hypnosis, be sure to check out the smooth stylings of Robert Weems. Â Matin will also be there, with Maher Matta keeping everyone in line as guest MC.
We’ll see you Thursday!
America’s Got Talent Comic THIS THURSDAY!
Drew Lynch is one talented young man. He hasn’t let his speech impediment stop him from being one of the funniest young comedians to watch today. In fact he used it to his advantage to bring laughs like I didn’t know I had in me! He has headlined Comedy Heights at Twiggs and will headline Thursdays at the Comedy Palace this coming week … don’t miss it.
Taylor Tomlinson at the Palace
I’m so proud to have been the first person to book this amazing young super star as a headliner, and we’re lucky enough to have her headline for our Thursday show at the Comedy Palace this week. When I mean superstar, I mean she’s competing on America’s biggest TV Comedy Competition and that’s all I can say about it right now. She’s touring the country and she’s only 21. We’re talking a lot of hard work and hilariously funny perspectives making this young lady the one to watch 🙂
